In October, Irving Public Library welcomes new and returning visitors in exciting ways --- you're invited to attend Open Houses and other special events, use your library card or get a new one, discover all the services available to you, learn what makes each location unique, and meet our staff!
Festivities are Oct. 1-27 at all libraries, with the spotlight each week on a different location:
Oct. 1-6: West Irving Library, 4444 W. Rochelle Road. Open House 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 2.
Oct. 7-13: Valley Ranch Library, 401 Cimarron Trail. Open House 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 9.
Oct. 14-20: East Branch Library, 440 S. Nursery Road. Open House 5 to 6 p.m. Oct. 16, and Grammy-winning entertainer Andres 1, 2, 3 performs 2:30 p.m. Oct. 20.
Oct. 21-27: South Irving Library, 601 Schulze Drive. Open House 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 23, and the library's Annual Fall Carnival and Haunted Fairytale Forest starts at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26.
