Mockingbird Elementary School hosts its annual Carnival on Saturday, September 29, 2018, from 11am until 3pm at the school’s outdoor field. The school is located at 5828 E. Mockingbird Lane (at the corner of Mockingbird Lane and Matilda Street) in Dallas. Everyone is invited to join in the fun and help support this neighborhood DISD elementary school. Admission is free; rides and events require tickets that can be purchased at the event. One ticket is $1. Tickets can be purchased online until Sept. 18 HERE
This year’s Carnival features exciting rides including Uproar Demolition (a thrilling ride that spins and swings riders), Carnival Swings, Eurobungy (a four-person bungee trampoline), a towering climbing rock wall, and Tubs of Fun (a teacup-style ride). There will also be pony rides and a petting zoo, along with a football toss, soccer challenge, basketball shooting game, and a baseball pitching challenge.
Rounding out the attractions: a variety of Midway games, a Wheel of Wonder, a cake walk, and face painting or hair painting (don’t worry, the colors are temporary).
A number of options for lunch and treats will be on hand as well. Choose from Chick-Fil-A, Piggie Pies, Grub Burger Bar, and Rudolph’s Meat Market, with cool treats from Snowbaby, Steel City Pops, and Botolino Gelato.
