Drop Spindle Yarn Spinning

Learn to spin wool into yarn using a spindle. The workshop will begin with the history and culture of this most ancient and universal of crafts. Workshop participants will leave with a tiny skein of fabulous yarn. We will work through the process of preparing wool fibers by carding and drafting and use a hand spindle to make a single-ply yarn, in addition, we will experiment with plying and other skills.
