The Work of Tracy Hicks: 'Collect Preserve Change'

Please join us Sunday, September 9 for a reception celebrating the life and work of Tracy Hicks. SP/N Gallery presents “The Work of Tracy Hicks: Collect Preserve Change” featuring Dallas based artist Tracy Hicks (1946- 2014) in a retrospective look at a lifetime of art-science collaboration as demonstrated through his making, collecting, creative partnerships, and innovative visual adaptations.

The exhibition includes major works Freedman’s Field, Darwin, and Third Ward Archive among others; and is a great opportunity to experience the art and world of this significant regional artist.

The exhibition runs from Aug. 10 - Nov. 10 in the SP/N Gallery with a reception on Sunday, September 9, 4- 6 p.m.
