Lael Nelson is a western and nostalgic realist artist. Working primarily in opaque watercolor, oil and gouache on paper, Lael has a distinctive and recognizable style of snapshot clarity. Many of her works are fashioned from photos of the late 1880s and the 1940s. Her works have received many awards of excellence at notable shows and she has been published in several books. Your Private Collection is proud to have Lael as our featured artist as part of the Galleries of Granbury Last Saturday Gallery Night.
