North Carolina singer songwriter Bryan Toney brings his original, alternative folk rock stylings back to Dallas. His music has been compared to everything from America and Harry Nilsson to R.E.M., Wilco and Belle and Sebastian with a voice echoing soft and sweet, strong, hard-driving guitar toe-tapping riffs and intensely personal original lyrics, loaded with vibrant, emotive imagery. Now in his third act as a singer songwriter, Toney incorporates his experience as a former Atlanta technology entrepreneur, university educator and world travler with his lifelong practice of writing songs and playing in garage bands. He just returned to the studio to begin recording his second album due to be released in early 2019. His first album, ”With a Y” was released in 2017.
