September Strings: A Concert for Harp and Violin

Concerts at St John’s presents Catherine Allain, Violin, and Karen Thomas, Harp, on Sunday, 16 September, at 3pm.

This concert will feature the music of Handel, Massenet, Piazzolla, and others, sumptuously arranged for harp and violin. Dr Thomas is Adjunct Lecturer in Harp at Baylor University and plays throughout the nation as part of the Dallas Harp Quartet. Catherine Allain has a diverse background in both violin and viola and has presented chamber music recitals throughout the US, Asia, and Europe. In addition to maintaining a full teaching studio, she subs with the Dallas Opera, Dallas Symphony and the Fort Worth Symphony.
