Simpatía Sin Compasión - Refugee Testimonial

Arts Fort Worth

Simpatía sin Compación is a body of work consisting of stamped words, phrases and symbols formally exploring how an individual looses value when placed among a multitude if identical or similar items yet retains its identity.   These investigations are paired-up with human matters pertaining to injustice, denial, indifference and disassociation among human groups with the intent to create awareness and self-reflection on the disenfranchised, especially individuals who have been displaced by violence.  As a way to highlight the individual and humanize the context of the migrant conversation, a group of brave migrants have chosen to share their perspective of the world from the point of view of their experiences.  A donation of $10 will go to Refugee Services of Texas.
