Urbanism refers to both the material aspects of urban living and the cultural aspects of city life. On the one hand, urbanism indicates the rural-urban movement of populations (urbanization) or their degree of concentration in urban areas. On the other hand, urbanism describes the characteristic way of social interaction of inhabitants of towns and cities (urban areas).
