Teatro Dallas is offering a two-week summer camp workshop at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center.
During the two-week program session, students participate in theatre exercises, theatrical games, improvisation, makeup, arts & crafts. The program culminates with a full production of free public performances, where the students explore the vital connection between performer and audience. All children participate in the development of the production (acting, props, music, set, costume, etc.)
Students explore different art forms: physical theatre, acting, visual arts, music, arts and crafts, and makeup; this helps them decide if they want to participate in one or more areas that will be part of the final production. Some even enjoy playing instruments from around the world that enhance the different emotions and stage timing of the show.
Mondays - Fridays ( July 16-27)
9 am - 3 pm
LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED! (Your child may bring a snack)
Please send your child with comfortable clothing and a yoga mat to be prepared and have a great experience with Teatro Dallas.
