As part of the Summer Reading Program, “Libraries Rock,” the Nicholson Memorial Library System presents special programs for children in July. All programs are free.
Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary
Kids can see and touch authentic fossils and learn how fossils are discovered, uncovered, and transported to a laboratory from the staff of the Heard Museum. The event will highlight critters from the Cretaceous Period including dinosaurs and later Ice Age animals who were residents of Texas.
