Adults can use jewelry-making techniques to make beaded bookmarks at one of the Adult Summer Reading Program craft events this July. The beading workshop will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24 at the Central Library.
Participants at this event will develop their beading skills by attaching colorful beads and charms to silver bookmarks. All supplies will be provided by the library. Registration is required to attend and is limited to twelve participants. Registration will begin Tuesday, July 10. Call 972-205-2501 to register.
This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Nicholson Memorial Library System and is open to adults ages 18 and older. The Central Library is located at 625 Austin St., in Downtown Garland.
