Buffer Zone by Madeline Irvine

Arts Fort Worth

Madeline concentrates on the beauty of the natural world. Across the globe, nature is endangered on many levels.  There is a very real possibility that much of the natural world will disappear within our lifetimes. It is Madeline's hope that humans will prioritize our inadequate attempts to moderate rapid changes caused by global warming. Without the oceans, temperatures on land would rise to 122 degrees. Already, large swaths of coral in the Great Barrier Reef have died. By creating beauty from these endangered Buffer Zones, she hopes to contribute to the preservation of the world.

Buffer Zones by Madeline Irvine will be on view at Fort Worth Community Arts Center July 6 through July 27, 2018. The opening reception is July 6, 2018; 6-9pm. For more information about this exhibition, please visit: http://www.fwcac.com/?exhibition_detail/5753
