Rockwall Summer Musicals will present Stephen Sondheim’s fairytale mashup Into the Woods June 22 – July 1, 2018 at the Rockwall Performing Arts Center (1201 T L Townsend Drive, Rockwall, TX 75087). Tickets cost between $18-$22 and can be purchased at the Box Office or online at rockwallsummermusicals.org. Memberships and season tickets are also available. This is the first show of the 2018 season, to be followed by Music Man August 10-19, 2018.
Set in an enchanted forest, a childless baker and his wife will do anything to undo a curse placed on their family tree and live happily ever after. Into the Woods combines many Brothers Grimm fairytale classics including Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, Jack and the Beanstalk, Cinderella, and more. Listen as Sondheim’s music comes to life with the Rockwall Summer Musicals orchestra directed by Bill Sizemore.
