Summer Kickoff

Heritage Village - Hurst

It's almost time to celebrate the end of the school year! Our annual Summer Kickoff event is coming up on Thursday, May 31st from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy free inflatables, ice cream treats, and more. Vocal Trash will be performing their exciting music stomp performance from 7:00 - 8:00 pm. Also, be sure and visit the Photo Wagon for a chance to get some photo memories with friends, and the Touch-a-Truck exhibit to see some impressive vehicles up close and personal! For more information, call the Hurst Community Services Division at 817-788-7305.

Described as, “Glee Meets Stomp”, Vocal Trash asks you to recycle your imagination as their urban-themed Broadway-style show energizes audiences from New York to Seattle and Las Vegas to Beijing. Their show includes world-class singing, industrial drumming, and award-winning break-dancing. Led by producer/creator, Steve Linder and producer/choreographer, Kelsey Rae (Annie), this green-minded ensemble tours globally on a relentless pursuit to bring people together. Utilizing the universal language of song and dance, this is Vocal Trash.

Through the MasterWorks Series, Arts Council Northeast and the City of Hurst present free performances on selected evenings throughout the year. The MasterWorks Series is designed to offer a variety of quality family entertainment to the community by utilizing the talent of local, regional, and national artists.
