KITE FESTIVAL FAQs:
> Who can participate at the festival? Do I have to fly a kite to come to this event?
Anyone can participate in the festival. The only event that is age-restricted is the 50-yard dash. The kite-making workshop and kite-flying contest, as well as all the other activities available at Twin Points Park, are open to everyone. You do not have to fly a kite to come and enjoy this event, but we do encourage you to!

> Is there a cost to get in?
There is a $20 entrance fee per vehicle to get into the park. There will also be food trucks available to purchase lunch or a few snacks.

> What time does the festival start?
The event starts at 10:00 and goes until 2:00 pm, but the park will stay open for normal business hours until 8:00pm. So once the festival ends, you can still enjoy the beach!

> Can I bring a picnic?
Yes! Coolers and food are allowed inside the park, but we request no glass containers. If you don’t feel like packing your own food, check out of the food trucks that will be on site.

> Do I have to compete in a contest to fly a kite?
Absolutely not. Feel free to fly your kite on your own, no matter what color, shape, or size! We do ask that you follow proper kite-flying etiquette and have proper running shoes.
