Memorial Day Weekend at the Dallas Arboretum


Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden

Memorial Day Weekend - May 25 to 28

Kick-off the holiday weekend with a concert by one of Dallas’ best party bands, The Grooves. In honor of our armed forces, the Arboretum will offer free admission into the main garden all four days for active duty members and veterans of the United States military and first responders with a valid photo ID. On Memorial Day, the celebration continues with face painting and a petting zoo in the Pecan Grove. Enjoy $2 hot dogs and root beer floats at the Terrace Café and Café of the Green.

Local band Sqeezebox is best known for their ability to fuse the sound of music. Their sound is best described as a TexMex Zydeco, with some old honky tonk, and some Texas blues! Bring a picnic and start your Memorial Day weekend with a concert that is sure to not disappoint.

The Empty Pockets Band

Empty Pockets Band is known for entertaining crowds with its studio quality sound and excellent song selection. The playlist covers songs from Patsy Cline to Miranda Lambert and from George Strait to Blake Shelton.
