The Dallas Asian American Youth Orchestra is a premier nonprofit youth orchestra in the DFW area.
Our five orchestras will perform their final concert of the season on May 20th at Moody Performance Hall.
There will be two performances: a Matinee featuring our younger strings groups, and an Evening concert featuring our Philharmonic and Symphony orchestras.
During our evening concert, we'll have a special student soloist, Nicholas Payne, playing Johann Baptist Vanhal's Double Bass Concerto in D. Additionally, our audience will be treated to Beethoven's Symphony number 5!
Our Matinee concert will feature our strings groups playing some great tunes including Brian Balmages' Lyric Metal and Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake Act 2, No. 10 (arr. Michael Hopkins)
Both concerts are free to the public!
