LIGHTS, FASHION, PHILANTHROPY: Elan Productions “Passion for Fashion” Returns to Dallas
Elan Productions is the brainchild of Aaron Antoine founded in 1988 with the original idea of creating philanthropic fashion events to raise funds for different nonprofit organizations in the DFW area. After a lengthy hiatus, a creative team of talent and volunteers within the fashion industry has reunited to join forces to present its forthcoming event “Passion for Fashion” scheduled for August 25, 2018. The event will showcase local emerging fashion talent at Hurst Conference Center, a state-of-the-art facility conveniently located in the heart of the DFW Metroplex.
While Elan Productions has coordinated several fashion shows for many notable organizations in the past with the goal of raising funds and awareness, this year’s event benefits two nonprofits: Tarrant Area Food Bank (TAFB) and Oasis Center. TAFB is the primary source of donated food for hunger-relief charities and feeding programs in 13 North Texas counties. Oasis Center provides life-changing programs and services to first-time youth offenders and formerly incarcerated persons.
The evening will also feature a curated Pop Up Shop marketplace, music performances, live entertainment, and business networking. Elan Productions will host its final Model Call on May 20, 2018. All models must submit a headshot, resume/comp card to [email protected]. Minimum model requirements are 5’7” to 6’0” (sizes 2-18) for women and 5’10” to 6’3” (waist sizes28-34) for men. Specific audition attire will be provided via email to each model.
