Harry Potter Lecture


Nicholson Memorial Library System - Central Library

Adult fans of Harry Potter can revisit the world of Hogwarts with a Potter-themed talk by a University of Texas at Dallas professor at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 30 at the Central Library.

Part of the Adult Summer Reading Program, the event will feature Professor Theresa Towner, who will discuss the themes, legacy, and impact J. K. Rowling’s series has had on literature and pop culture.

This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Nicholson Memorial Library System and is open to adults ages 18 and older. The Central Library is located at 625 Austin St., in Downtown Garland.
