June 21: Tribute to the Music of Wayne Shorter
Join the Duane Durrett Quartet for an evening with the music of Wayne Shorter. In addition to being one of the great saxophonists, Shorter is one of the great contemporary composers of modern American Music. After stints with Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers and Miles Davis’ Second Great Quintet, Shorter co-founded the jazz fusion band Weather Report.
