(Visual Arts/Sculpture/Mixed Media)
A major attraction off Route 66 in Texas is Cadillac Ranch, a public art installation and sculpture in Amarillo created in 1974 by three artists in a group called “Ant Farm.” Using a paper casting method, students will create their own version of a Cadillac Ranch-inspired art installation.
Instructor: Linda Disosway

(Visual Arts/Mixed Media/2D & 3D)
After researching famous roadside attractions along Route 66, such as the 19 ft. Muffler Man holding a hot dog in Atlanta, Illinois, a giant milk bottle sign in Oklahoma City and the infamous Cadillac Ranch, campers will paint, collage and/or sculpt some of their favorites.
Instructor: Sheila Cunningham

This class is all about shoes (boots included!) from original design to recycling/re-using old pairs for mixed media projects such as sole carving and printmaking.
Instructor: Teresa Parsons

Panhandle Plains Watercolors

The flat plains of the Texas Panhandle of Texas, punctuated by lonely silhouettes of windmills and water towers, is the dramatic inspiration for this landscape painting class.
Instructor: Sarah Schacht
