Join the graduating BFA candidates Natasha Conover and Katie MacCrory for Unexpected, their capstone exhibition. Unexpected: BFA Studio Exhibition is the culmination of the BFA candidates' time at TCU, showcasing Conover and MacCrory skills in sculpture and photography.

Natasha Conover is a BFA Sculpture Major at Texas Christian University. She was born in Dallas, Texas and grew up in Jacksboro, Texas. After moving to Fort Worth, Texas in 2001 she began taking classes at Tarrant County College, where she received her Associate of Art. In 2015, she came to Texas Christian University to pursue a BFA in Painting, and then in 2017 she moved to Sculpture. Natasha’s work is very detail oriented. Her sculptures begin as found wood, then uses other mediums like: string, stone, automobile glass, and micro beads to bring out the beauty of each piece.

Katie MacCrory is currently a senior at Texas Christian University studying to get her BFA in photography. Katie is a Houston native, and currently lives in Fort Worth. Inspired by photographers like Alexa Meade, she frequently experiments with mixing other mediums into her photography. She is interested in the texture that is added to the photos by adding paint or ink on top. Her work is focused on the process of making it as well as its relationship with the person viewing it. In addition to her art making practice, Katie works as a sports photographer and social media intern for TCU Athletics. Where she combines her unique process to the world of sports.

Moudy Gallery is located in Moudy North Building TCU’s Campus, 2805 S. University Dr., Fort Worth. Gallery Hours are Monday - Friday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday 1 -4 p.m. and by appointment. Admission is free.
