Cool Thursdays Concert Series - Rio: Duran Duran Tribute Band

Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden

June 14
7:30 - 9:00 pm
Gates at 6:00 pm

Rio, the world’s premiere Duran Duran tribute band, is based in Southern California and composed of dynamic live performers who epitomize the look and sound of the quintessential mid-1980’s Duran Duran. Gil, Jake, Danny, Curt and Daniel deliver high-energy, note-for-note renditions of Duran Duran songs spanning the band’s catalog from Planet Earth to Electric Barbarella. Rio has played top venues across North America and is currently the only high-profile, full-time working Duran Duran tribute band in the United States.

All concerts are held on the Martin Rutchik Concert Stage & Lawn. Gates open at 6 p.m. Spring concerts are 7:30 - 9:30 p.m., fall concerts 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The garden closes at the conclusion of each concert.

In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved inside to Rosine Hall. Due to limited space, inside seating is based on a first come, first served basis. Guests are encouraged to arrive early, bring low-to-the-ground chairs and blankets as no seating is provided. A determination of weather-altered plans will be made by 3 p.m. on the day of the concert. Check our homepage or our Facebook page for updates the day of the concert.
