North Central Ballet

Hurst Public Library

Founded in 1993 by Leslie M. Jordan III, the North Central Ballet Company is a civic, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the art of ballet and helping to enrich the environment of our community through education, performance and dance related activities. The primary goals of the company are to provide young dancers the opportunity to develop their talents in a professional atmosphere, and to pass on to them the excitement of a “live stage performance”. North Central Ballet has performed for organizations such as the Greater Keller Chamber of Commerce, the Colleyville Chamber of Commerce, and the HEB Chamber of Commerce as well as provided entertainment for Arts Council Northeast Masterworks Series, the Shining Stars Gala and the Colleyville Women’s Club.  Additionally, North Central Ballet has performed for the City of North Richland Hills, the City of Watauga, the City of Bedford, the City of Saginaw and the City of Fort Worth.

Through the MasterWorks Series, Arts Council Northeast and the City of Hurst present free performances on selected evenings throughout the year. The MasterWorks Series is designed to offer a variety of quality family entertainment to the community by utilizing the talent of local, regional, and national artists.
