An Afternoon with Texas Ballet Theater


Amon Carter Museum of American Art

Dance the afternoon away at the Amon Carter as you watch a short performance by the Texas Ballet Theater's Professional Division, explore the movement of figures found in the exhibition A New American Sculpture, and learn a few ballet positions from the dancers themselves!

2 p.m.—Take mini tours of A New American Sculpture with museum docents
2:30 – 2:40 p.m.—Watch a performance by Texas Ballet Theater's Professional Division
2:45 – 3:15 p.m.—Learn basic ballet positions with TBT dancers (two 15-minute sessions)
3:15 – 4 p.m.—Meet dancers in the exhibition
