The Nicholson Memorial Library System presents Senior Social Hour at the Library. These free events are sponsored by the Friends of the Library and are open to anyone 55 years of age or older. The events will allow time for questions, discussion, socializing and door prizes. Light refreshments will be served.
Twice upon a Time Storytellers

Get lost in Tales of Texas Legends as Twice upon a Time Storytellers take the stage at the Nicholson Memorial Library System’s Senior Social Hour. Twice upon a Time Storytellers consists of Gene and Peggy Helmick-Richardson, two people who have been sharing their tales since 1999. The pair blends ancient oral tradition, personal narrative, science, history, and culture in order to allow their audiences to see the world in new and imaginative ways. For this performance, Twice Upon a Time will present the stories of two Texas legends in full historical costume.
