Fifth Annual Jazz Age Sunday Social

Old City Park

The largest and grandest vintage-inspired event in Texas returns! The fifth annual Jazz Age Sunday Social is coming to Dallas Heritage Village Sunday March 18th! This is definitely a milestone year - won't you join us?

An afternoon of Jazz Age music and culture awaits, with two traditional jazz bands, vintage vendors, dancing, antique cars, food, photo booth, best-dressed contest, and much more.

Enjoy the best in 1920s sound with the Singapore Slingers - nationally recognized for recreating the Jazz Age with the utmost authenticity, as well as the Matt Tolentino Band. Great bands for your listening and dancing pleasure. And don't miss Amelia Fox Trot from the Austin Phonograph Society - she'll be playing 78 rpm records on beautiful antique gramophones. Take a whirl on our wooden dance floor! Don't dance but want to get in on the action? Elaine Hewlett from the Rhythm Room will be on hand teaching the Charleston and other dance steps.

Vendors will be on hand with everything from vintage-inspired jewelry, fine illustration, and even cruises to far away locales... and we're adding more in the days to come, so stay tuned.

The Jazz Age Sunday Social is a picnic, so we invite you all to pack a lunch and bring a chair or blanket, and enjoy lunch on the lush grounds of Dallas Heritage Village, while you take in the sights and sounds of the 1920s. If you find yourself in a time crunch, or forget to pack lunch - it's okay. Easy Slider food truck and ice cream will be on hand to make sure you don't go hungry!

Dress in your finest walking whites or vintage apparel - or just come as you are. However, if you don your glad rags, you can enter our best-dressed contest for a chance to win a prize from fabulous local businesses. And while you're parading about looking your best, don't miss our free photo booth!

Antique cars will be adorning the grounds, so there's plenty of chances for photo ops. The saloon will be serving soda and cold drinks, and the old-fashioned popcorn wagon will be running, as well.

Admission is only $12 for those 12 and older - younger children are free, making for the perfect family outing. Tickets will be available atwww.DallasHeritageVillage.org soon, and you can always purchase tickets at the gate. When you hear Bill Flynt's calliope, you'll know you're at the right place.

Be a part of the fifth annual Jazz Age Sunday Social!
