The August Winds have been performing since they met as freshman at Indiana University in 2000. Join Ruth Ann Ritchie, flute; Natasha Merchant, oboe; Marianne Shifrin, clarinet; Michael Jones, bassoon; and Jonathan Kuhns-Obana, horn, for works by Ross Edwards, Igor Stravinsky, and Ottavio Respighi. Pianist Libby Vanatta will also be featured on Poulenc's popular Sextet for Wind Quintet and Piano.
