Hosted by North Texas Suzuki Association, TSAP presents:
Cynthia Black, viola
Hailed for her "magnetic, wide-ranging tone" and her "rock solid technique" (Philadelphia Inquirer), Ayane Kozasa is thrilled to be giving back to her Suzuki roots in the Dallas community. Joining her is childhood fellow Suzuki kid, Cynthia Black, in a recital featuring a duo performance of LeClair and other Baroque masterpieces showcasing the best of the viola repertoire.
Bonus! Ayane and Cynthia will also be leading a pre-concert Play-In for the NTSA community starting at 5:45 p.m. Join in and find out what the NTSA Suzuki kids are all about. Please register here for your participation.
Works by J.S. Bach, Antonio Bartolomeo Bruni, Jean-Marie Leclaire, Caroline Shaw and Henri Vieuxtemps
Ticket reservations are free. A suggested donation of $10/adult and $5/student and children will be collected at the door with proceeds going towards the NTSA Scholarship Fund.
The Suzuki Alumni Project celebrates the Suzuki method’s dedication to personal development and musical excellence through performances by its alumni.
