The Carpatho-Rusyn Society: Dallas Chapter presents “Rusyns: A People Surviving With Changing Borders” with guest speaker Milan Reban, Professor Emeritus, Political Science, University of North Texas.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 3, 2018, from 3-5 PM at the Environmental Education Center, 4116 W. Plano Parkway, Plano, TX, 75093. Admission is free, and donations are welcomed.

Milan Reban was born in Prague, but fled Communist Czechoslovakia as a teenager, and pursued his college education in the United States.With a Ph.D. from Michigan State in hand, Professor Reban accepted a professorship at the University of North Texas, where he taught Comparative and International Politics for four decades. His research interests focus on ethnicity and nationalism in East and Central Europe and the USSR. As a retired professor Emeritus, he has offered presentations for the Emeritus College at UNT.
