Centering Abstraction: Lael Burns, Sophia Ceballos, Gwen Meharg, Adam Palmer Gallery 414 and guest curator Barbara Koerble present Centering Abstraction featuring Fort Worth artists Lael Burns, Sophia Ceballos, Gwen Meharg and Adam Palmer. Centering Abstraction will hold a closing reception from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, and at 2 p.m., there will be a panel discussion with the artists and curator. The reception and panel talk are free and open to the public.

Centering Abstraction features the work of contemporary artists Lael Burns, Sophia Ceballos, Gwen Meharg and Adam Palmer. The artists work in a variety of media, but drawing is at the core of their practice. Layering of media is also utilized in many of the artworks. In the context of this exhibition, the artists have used abstraction as a centering device with which they have given voice to their varied artistic expressions.
