Luck O' the Artist at D'Vine Wine

D'Vine Wine of Granbury

Last Saturday Gallery Night's theme is Luck O' the Artist, just in time for upcoming St. Patrick's Day.  We are lucky enough to have two artists at D'Vine Wine: Susan Parker White and Cherry Hanneman.

Susan is well traveled and paints in watercolors, acrylics, and oils.  She is very active in the Pecan Plantation Art Guild and is thankful to live in a community where art is appreciated and practiced.  Cherry and her husband Bob have owned Brazos Moon Antiques since 2005.

Cherry began creating her "Tin Type" Dolls that begin as vintage tin cans and end up as characters with lots of personality.  From Mae West (who likes her men like her coffee, "strong and hot") to Colonel Mustard (who did it in the Library with the Candlestick), Cherry continues to create a menagerie of Tin Types who will make you laugh, recall a memory, or just warm your heart.

We hope you will come by to meet these amazing artists, view their work, and while you are here enjoy live music with local musician Jerry Allen and even have a glass of local wine.  Pick up a Trivia Game form, answer questions and be entered to win a gift certificate from one of the Galleries of Granbury:  Against the Grain Studio, Artefactz, Your Private Collection, the Langdon Center, Shanley House and D'Vine Wine.  Each location will have different featured artists, refreshments and even entertainment.
