A Two Page Paper on Impasse features the multimedia work of Houston based Iva Kinnaird.The exhibition explores the labor, anxiety, reaction and unintended comedy involved in the feed backk loop of making art. There will be a reception for the artist on Saturday, February 17 fro 6 to 9 pm; the exhibition will continue through March 24.
Kinnaird received a BFA from the University of Texas in Austin and currently lives and works in Houston. Her work has been shown at Lawndale Art Center, Art League Houston andPerformance Art Houston as well as 500X Gallery in Dallas and Texas Woman's University Gallery in Denton. In 2014 Kinnaird received the Clare Hart DeGolyer Memorial Fund award from the Dallas Museum of Art.
