Stolen Shakespeare Festival 2018 Featuring

The SSG presents the 2018 Stolen Shakespeare Festival, “Lost At Sea” featuring TWELFTH NIGHT and THE TEMPEST by William Shakespeare. The festival runs February 9 through March 4, at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center

ABOUT TWELFTH NIGHT
"If music be the food of love, play on...." One of Shakespeare's most popular and enduring comedies, after a shipwreck, twin siblings Viola and Sebastian wash up on the shores of Illyria. Viola, disguised as a man Cesario, takes up service with the Duke Orsino, who is madly in love with the Lady Olivia. Orsino sends Cesario over as an emissary of love, and Olivia falls for Viola! And so begins this rich, bold comedy of romance and mistaken identities.

ABOUT THE TEMPEST
"We are such stuff as dreams are made of..." The Tempest follows the story of Prospero, the banished Duke of Milan. Marooned on a distant island with his daughter, Miranda, Prospero has spent twelve years perfecting his magic arts. Now, with the help of the spirit Ariel, he raises a storm at sea, bringing within his grasp the enemies who robbed him of his dukedom. Join us for Shakespeare's supernatural masterpiece!
