Mount Vernon Music, Mark Miller, violin; Ute Miller, viola and Friends

Mount Vernon Music is a charitable organization that provides outstanding performances of live music to communities in northeast Texas - traditional chamber music, jazz and other styles as well as educational and family concerts. President Mark Miller was a recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Rural Residencies grant, and has been performing and organizing musical events in northeast Texas for the past ten years. Presently concertmaster of the East Texas Symphony Orchestra, he performs with the Fort Worth and Dallas Symphony Orchestras and other area ensembles. Since 1997 he has produced The Color of Sound, a series of chamber music concerts underwritten by the Music Department of Texas A&M University-Commerce. Mark and his wife Ute also play as Duo Renard.
