Irving Arts Center is pleased to host legendary dance troupe Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo on Jan. 30.
The notorious all-male drag ballet company, commonly known to audiences around the world as the Trocks, were formed in 1974 in New York City on the heels of the Stonewall riots. The Trocks have since developed a passionate cult following around the world. Today, the dance troupe is a worldwide phenomenon, a delight for dance aficionados and novices alike.
Always hilarious, and quite graceful when they wish to be, an evening with Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, is an evening like no other. The Trocks deliver, as only they can, in frilly tutus and man-sized toe shoes, January 30 at Irving Arts Center.
