Trinity Art Gallery (TAG) is the campus gallery for Trinity Christian Academy, a PreK through Twelfth grade school in Addison, Texas. The gallery offers beautiful and well-lighted areas to view artworks by students and professional artists and is designed to promote the visual education of the entire community.
The upcoming show entitled, Drawing and Painting the Figure - Ellen Soderquist and Sedrick Huckaby is a rare opportunity for students to learn from two nationally known artists. It is also an exhibition worthy of a larger audience. Soderquist is known for her lyrical figures meticulously drawn in graphite, and Huckaby for the densely sculptural paintings of family members. The artists complement and contrast each other in method and presentation.
Opening reception is Feb.1, 2018, 6-8 pm. The show runs through Feb. 28, 2018.
