Help-Create Hearts + Flowers

Vetro Glassblowing Studio & Gallery is turning up the heat for Valentine's Day! Exciting for friends, family or couples, the Help-Create Hearts + Flowers event on February 3 (10am-1pm; 2:30pm-6pm) allows participants to create a colorful glass heart or flower keepsake. Each participant selects colors from five pre-selected color mixes and applies the colors to the hot molten glass gather. Each participant then watches as a professional glassblower reheats the glass color in the 2,000-degree furnace before shaping the heart or flower. Due to the annealing process, glass hearts and flowers will be available for pick-up the next business day after 3:00pm. The cost is $30 (plus tax) per glass flower and $45 (plus tax) per glass heart (ages under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian). Reservations are not accepted for the first-come, first-serve event
