“We are primarily a group of pastel artists, excited by the rich color of the pastel stick and the joy we feel as we hold it in our hand and use it in our mark-making. As you peruse our art and read our statements, you will discover a common thread…we are artists in our souls and have been artists all our lives! Our journeys are varied - as are the mediums we have utilized along the way. This exhibit is a reflection of those exciting journeys as we continue to explore our visions and ideas in many different ways…through pencil…paint…and PASTEL!
