One of chamber music’s gems, Schubert‘s “Trout” Quintet for piano and strings, is performed by members of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra (DSO) and other local musicians. DSO violinist Angela Fuller Heyde leads the ensemble, including Ann Marie Brink, viola, DSO; Marie-Thaïs Levesque Oliver, cello; Brian Perry, bass, DSO; and Gabriel Sanchez, piano, DSO.
Schubert’s art song “Die Forelle” (The Trout), which he uses in the Quintet, will be performed by acclaimed baritone David Grogan, Associate Professor of Voice at the University of Texas at Arlington.
The program includes Ms. Heyde and Ms. Oliver playing Duo, Op. 409 by Alan Hovhaness.
