The 22nd Annual Texas Art Auction will feature 402 lots of turn of the century to mid-century Texas paintings, works on paper and sculpture by some of the most important names in early Texas art; as well as some lesser known, yet distinctive finds. Several important collector estates are represented in the sale.
Some highlights include several sculptures the late Dallas artist Octavio Medellin, works by other Dallas artist such as DeForrest Judd, Bill Komodore, and Otis Dozier as well as early 20th century work by, Julian Onderdonk, Paul Schumann, and Frank Reaugh.
This highly anticipated Texas Art event is a live paddled art auction and has become a tradition for collectors from across the state. The sale will last all afternoon and into the early evening with great food and drinks. It traditionally draws over 450 guests in attendance each year. Loyal and new auction bidders travel in from far and wide.
