Sounds Modern celebrates 10 years of concerts at the Modern with the composer whose music launched the series in 2007, Morton Feldman. The December 16 concert features Feldman’s Crippled Symmetry and Earle Brown’s Hodograph I, with Elizabeth McNutt (flutes), Christopher Deane (percussion), and Steven Harlos (piano) performing in the Modern’s auditorium at 2 pm. Also be sure to visit the permanent collection to see artwork by the composers’ friends, Philip Guston, Jackson Pollock, and Mark Rothko.
