Fort Worth Youth Orchestra (FWYO) invites the community to experience the sights, sounds and smells of the holiday season as FWYO celebrates cheer during the 2017 Holiday Concert held in two parts at Texas Christian University. FWYO’s interactive event will kick off with seasonal favorites performed by each of the FWYO orchestral ensembles, and a special performance from the Philharmonic Orchestra accompanied by the Fort Worth ISD’s Children’s Honor Choir.
Guests will then move to the lobby to enjoy holiday treats at the first ever Parents' Guild Holiday Café and shop unique gifts during the FWYO Parents' Guild Annual Holiday Auction. This fun-filled event will end with a family Holiday Sing-a-Long featuring the FWAFA's Mixed Choral Ensemble. FWYO’s Holiday Event has something for the whole family and will leave you dreaming of dancing sugar plums and falling snowflakes!
