ArtBOOM is a pop-up art show showcasing student and professional works. Featuring pieces from artists Bob Kilcullen, Carolyn Joe, Michaele Ann Harper and Michael Furrh. One hundred percent of the proceeds go to Lustgarten Foundation, the premier nonprofit organization funding research for pancreatic cancer.
ArtBOOM! is organized by 17-year-old Woodrow Wilson High School senior, Annabelle Furrh. Annabelle has enlisted her family and friends involved in ArtBOOM! because grandparents Elaine and Dennis Boom both died of pancreatic cancer within the last couple of years. They were great supporters of the arts during their lives. Annabelle is aiming to raise awareness and money to help end Pancreatic Cancer in a way that honors her grandparents’ love of the arts.
