Intro to Coding & Using Microcontrollers

Techie Factory

Tuesday, Jan. 2 - Friday, Jan. 6

The micro:bit is a tiny computer which offers kids an opportunity learn electronics, coding, and prototyping. The Makey Makey is a fun circuit board that lets curious students make household items into working computer keys.

This four day holiday camp will feature the BBC micro:bit hardware and Microsoft MakeCode software and Makey Makey Invention Kits for use with the popular Scratch Programming Language.

Camp is best for students seven and older who have either no experience, or those who have some  exposure to coding but who want to learn about the micro:bit, available/compatible add-ons, and JavaScript.

Please bring your lunch; we will have snacks and water, too.
