Wildflower Art Studio's popular kid's art classes are BACK! Join us in our brand new studio for an inspiring semester of CREATIVITY and FUN!
2018 Curriculum involves an in-depth study based on the elements and principles of design. Students will focus on both 2-D and 3-D art. Our projects will include pencil drawing techniques, watercolor, and acrylic painting, as well as working with kiln-fired clay. We will continue learning about perspective, value, and design as we practice a variety of art techniques demonstrated throughout art history.
Each session will build upon the knowledge from the prior semester. Starting with 2-D Drawing and Painting, ending the semester with 3-D Clay & Sculpture
Kindergarten through 6th grade (Students will be divided into groups according to age and skill level).
Session 1: Jan 8 - Feb 12
Session 2: Feb. 19 - April 2 (no class March 12)
Session 3: April 9 - May 14
Classes meet every Monday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Space is limited.
