Presents XQUENDA
It is a word in the Zapotec language of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. Xquenda means "spirit" or "dream." In Mexican culture, talking about death refers to a pause in our lives to rest and remain in a dream from which we return on the "Dia de todos los santos" or All Saints' Day. At this time, it is believed that the dead return from the underworld to meet their relatives.
