The PLUS String Quartet, composed of Dallas Symphony Orchestra musicians Filip Fenrych and Aleksandr Snytkin, violin; Ann Marie Brink, viola; and Jeff Hood, cello, will join DSO double bassist Brian Perry for a concert of three acclaimed works. The group will perform Haydn’s String Quartet Op. 74, No. 3 (the “Rider”), the Shostakovich String Quartet No. 8 and the Dvorak Bass Quintet. Brink and Perry are both Meadows music faculty members.
