Join us for an afternoon of western movies as we watch two versions of "True Grit," based on the book by Charles Portis. At 1 p.m., we'll watch the 1969 film, and at 3 p.m., the 2010 adaptation.
Irving Reads is a monthlong promotion of reading books as a community through conversation and cultural programs. This year’s activities are sponsored by the Friends of Irving Public Library, the Irving Independent School District, the Irving Arts Center and the City of Irving Parks and Recreation.
